Jeremy Fitzhardinge	24037a8b69	Add nosegneg capability to the vsyscall page notes ... Add the "nosegneg" fake capabilty to the vsyscall page notes. This is used by the runtime linker to select a glibc version which then disables negative-offset accesses to the thread-local segment via %gs. These accesses require emulation in Xen (because segments are truncated to protect the hypervisor address space) and avoiding them provides a measurable performance boost. Roland McGrath	c97db4a0a7	[PATCH] i386 vDSO: add PT_NOTE segment ... This patch adds an ELF note to the vDSO giving the LINUX_VERSION_CODE value. Having this in the vDSO lets the dynamic linker avoid the `uname' syscall it now always does at startup to ascertain the kernel ABI available.
